River Ballet Company is a non profit 501c3 in the state of NJ.
We are a Pre-professional ballet company offering students ages 9 and up the opportunity to perform
in an Annual Nutcracker and Classical Ballets in the Spring.
Past Spring performances have included, but not limited to, Giselle, Coppelia, Les Sylphides,
Peter & the Wolf, Alice in Wonderland, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, etc.
Children from both New Jersey and Pennsylvania have come to join River Ballet and have an experience of a lifetime, performing in a professional ballet. Unlike recitals, all of our ballets have all the bells and whistles. Hand made scenery, props, exquisite costuming, lighting, backdrops, etc.
Our company members take weekly ballet classes along with Variations and Pas de Deux and have the opportunity to work their way up to performing many amazing roles, such as Sugar Plum Fairy!
We are currently rehearsing inside the Kidz Gym & Dance Studio, located at 54 Mt. Airy Village Rd. Lambertville, NJ

Artistic Director:
The Artistic Director is Victoria Harris-Szeplaki Victoria studied at Darvash Ballet Studio, NYC, Burklyn Ballet Theater, Vermont, Pennsylvania School of Ballet, Philadelphia, New Jersey Ballet and Broadway Dance Center, NYC. Victoria Studied under the Direction of Gabriella Taub-Darvash of the Kirov Ballet, Judith Fugate, Cherie Noble, Lupe Serrano, Joseph Carow and Frank Hatchett (Jazz). Her vast performing experience includes, New Jersey Ballet, Whitney Ballet Company, Burklyn Ballet, Classical Ballet of Northern Virginia, and Jazz and Tap performances in NYC & Japan. Her Musical Theater experience includes shows such as Will Rogers Follies, Fiddler on the Roof and Funny Girl at Bucks County Playhouse. Victoria has over 30 years of teaching experience and has taught throughout New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Victoria holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Education from the University of the Arts with training in the Vaganova Syllabus, as well as a degree in Elementary Education and has been a Teachers Aide for over 10yrs and currently works at Lambertville Public School. |
